Blogger peer-pressure
Ran about 6K today. I didn't really care about the distance, just about getting out. It's been busy this week for me, and today it was raining as well, but after trying to get my heart rate up whilst indoors I decided rain or no rain, I was going out to run. Ran at what felt like 8 mins/mile pace - and I hope that's what it was, otherwise I'm truly forming a Michelin around my waist.
I had some other motivation to go running too. The common conception of blogging is that it's a waste of time, but today the thought of having nothing to post about, and leaving the blog blank for another day, was good incentive to get out and get a run in - not to mention the fear of disdain from my fellow blogmates. So if you're reading this, thanks very much for helping me out!

I feel like if I don't run or do some sort of exercise I let down fellow bloggers too, despite my lack of true distance running!
Good job on your run today!

I get that response about blogging being a waste of time as well, but I disagree completely. I have met some wonderful people blogging and have been able to get a lot of good advice and read about people's struggle to reach goals, which I find fascinating. Nice job on getting out to run. Peer pressure was a good thing in this case.

This has been a Lazy posting week for me as well, while I have been running, running posts get boring to write and read. I need some imspiration. Way to go Try, or as Paul my fellow blogger likes to call you "Pig guy" :)
