It's freezing cold today.
Yesterday I chickened out of a run and did my penance on the stepper in the evening while watching Scrubs/Will and Grace. I had things to do in the afternoon - shopping, household chores - that I wanted to get out of the way first, and it was the evening when I finished, so I went 25 minutes at 75-80%MHR. The next time I bitch about running in the cold, remind me how boring it is on the stepper. I'm stepping as hard as I can, as fast as I can, and my heart rate takes ages to get even above 60%. Too long for me, those 5-10 minutes.
I've bought some jog bottoms to do some running in at low cost. They were on sale, so I was pretty pleased with that.
The weekend routine is weights, and then I'll do the run at work on Monday.
