Just dropping in...
Nothing much to blog about, other than the fact that my brain went into overdrive thinking about lesson planning early this morning, after which I decided to go for a run. The weather was nice and cool, unlike the afternoons when it gets blazing hot. How did this heatwave creep up on us again?
Short runs are still on the menu, followed by strength work in the evenings. Flitting about with training programmes, I'm back to aiming to run under 13.1 miles a week again, and seeing where that level of running takes me.
Today's lesson went well. I was stressed about it yesterday, but I'm very pleased about how things went. And because I did some extra work last weekend I have today to relax; a day where I can afford not to do any preparations for the next day. (But I'll still do it; plan ahead anyway, so I can buy myself more time next week.)

This is my trusty weight. Her name is "Minute Maid", and we have a date tonight. Usually it's 20- to 30-rep sets of shoulder presses and bicep curls. Wanna guess the total value of the coins? (All coppers.)

I am really searching for some kind of pigism relating to curling a jug full of change.....I am just drawing a blank...

I am going to be writing my first lesson plan tonight and yes it is due tomorrow, but I never claimed to be a go getter that gets everything done early. Don't press too many oranges all at once.

Hmmm...maybe $10.06? American?

Great job planning ahead and staying on top of the situation. Nothing like being able to relax and have some "free" time purchased ahead of time! :)
I like the bottle of change. Great idea for a weight.
