This week’s exercise has mainly been cycling to and from work. It takes about 15 – 20 minutes each way, depending on whether I want to arrive sweaty or fairly dry. The first day on my bike was quite hard work as I was figuring out the gears, and the hill at the midpoint seemed to take ages to get over. I don’t know if I got the flu from cycling somehow.
The bike is a bit heavy for a mountain bike, but it’s good for doing bicep curls with. (This might sound a bit crazy, but it’s mild in comparison to me doing bicep curls with a suitcase, and contemplating pressups on a plane.
Anyway, that’s the training so far. Down in London and will do more walking and pressups. I notice that everyone’s blogs are petering out a bit perhaps due to family and work commitments, or a break from training, but I would like to encourage everyone to – even if they don’t blog – keep exercising and keeping fit, and start aiming for next summer’s goals.
