Random thoughts
- Leaving for school at 6am on a Saturday sucks. But if I love my Saturdays enough to take a pay cut, there's always that option. Until then, it's put up or shut up.
- I ran after work on Wednesday, my only early weekday. I ran 30 minutes at 7:30-7:45 pace - largely 7:30, but finishing on a seemingly never-ending hill probably pushed it to 7:45.
- I hate finishing work at 7.
- I hate having to prepare work until 9-ish most weekday evenings.
- Evolution blessed me with a big mouth, largely to wolf down large amounts of food in small amounts of time. Ten minutes for lunch on some days is not ideal, but neither is it impossible.
- 200 pressups a day is not always possible on consecutive days, but I'll stop worrying about reps from now on and instead work on quality and form.
- I can eat a banana without using my hands.
- It appears I'll only have opportunities to run on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
- Probably even less chances for blogging.
- Are Met-RX meal replacements any good?
- Sunday should be a computer-free day.
- I've considered shutting down this blog. Mainly because I don't run enough, don't have anything much to say, and when I do, it's usually some moan about life or work.
- Long train journeys can be spent munching breakfast and prepping work, but attempting to bring along toiletries to get ready in the train toilets is a bit of a stretch.
- Especially when the toilets are out of order.
- I don't have to hoik heavy weights to work my biceps.
- Doing one set of everything a day will probably yield me better results than two sets every other day.
- Drinking 6 litres of water a day is fine. Not so fine at the other end.
- If you wish to view excerpts from the programme I mentioned in the previous post, here's a link you can try.
- I need easy-to-make soup recipes.
- More hours in a day would be good.

Random bullet points of life. So appropriate. How exactly can you eat a banana without using your hands?

Boy, can I relate to a lot of these....
Hang in there! And please don't shut down the blog! I love hearing how my fellow teacher/runner across the pond is doing. :)

Don't shut down the blog! But do tell us that banana trick. And I'll find some easy soup recipes -- do you have a slow cooker?

I can do a shot without using my hands. Bannana no. How does that work.
On shutting down the blog.....I've been thinking the same thing. I feel so boring and am not running. But today I needed it. I feel better.
Please stay.
Anyhow you run so fast. I love that.
