Unofficially a blog that's been shut down, you might still find the occasional post here where I mention something about exercise, rant/comment on life, or post my amateur third-person poetry.

Maybe I’m getting more accustomed to the cold.

Instead of the forecast indoor circuit training, I thought “what the heck” and went for a run just now in the 5C / 41F weather which I usually wouldn’t do. I put on my gloves and hat and felt okay, ending up with a 30 minute run. Maybe it helped that there was little wind. I did three laps of the park, and then a cool-down lap and jog to get groceries. I was pleased to know one of my laps was 4:40 – last summer (i.e. when I exercised more) a 5:30 would have been okay and a 4:30 good. What I’m trying to say is I’m pleased, although I’ll have to work on sustaining that for a few more laps.

Back to Bedford tonight. Probably a rest evening, reading my Sebastian Coe book.

Oh yes, I got a positive reply from a music service after my Tuesday audition. They said they'll add me on to their list of instrumental tutors so hopefully that means more work in the future. Yippee!
