Unofficially a blog that's been shut down, you might still find the occasional post here where I mention something about exercise, rant/comment on life, or post my amateur third-person poetry.

Went running around the park yesterday again. Nothing fancy, just 3 rounds followed by some sprints. I was pleased to do one of those rounds in a 4:20-ish time.

Summer's on it's way out here, it seems - we're no longer having very hot days; just nice and cool ones, but the weather does turn a little cold in the morning. Have to sort out my training plans for autumn and winter. Just out of interest, has anyone ever gone running outdoors when it's 5 deg C / 41 Fahrenheit or below? I'm wondering what it'll be like, whether it's worth the effort or not, whether I'll do myself more harm than good, etc. It'll be great to hear about anyone's experiences of running in the cold.
