Unofficially a blog that's been shut down, you might still find the occasional post here where I mention something about exercise, rant/comment on life, or post my amateur third-person poetry.

I did eventually go for a run on Thursday evening, and I’ve done my running today too, so after a fortnight’s hiatus I’m more or less back on track again on my schedule of running 3 – 4 times a week, at least 20 minutes each time, and doing weights in between. I should stress again that – unlike the other bloggers I link to – my aim is just merely to have an acceptable level of fitness, which I feel the training above allows me to achieve. Of course if I had more time I’d do more, but I need to balance that with my work and other stuff I’d like to do.

This weekend is going to be hot, so I got my running done in the morning today when it was cooler. Still, I much prefer the heat to the cold – I can’t say how I’m going to manage when winter comes. Anyone has any ideas of indoor cardiovascular training during the winter? I’m considering buying a step machine or something like that because I don’t like running outdoors when it’s freezing cold. I also thought about the fluid trainers, but I don’t think my flatmate in the room downstairs is keen on that.

Anyway, I hope everyone has a good weekend of training!
