Unofficially a blog that's been shut down, you might still find the occasional post here where I mention something about exercise, rant/comment on life, or post my amateur third-person poetry.

Should I or shouldn't I?

I'm still thinking about running the 10K race above. But there are some things about it that make me think "Hmm...". From past years' pictures, it appears that the start lane is six or seven runners across - which means, given a field of about 600 men, one could find oneself one hundred people back before even crossing the start line. Not exactly PR friendly. In addition, the roads aren't closed for the race, so one might find all the fast running was for nothing if you have to end up stopping to press the button to request Mr Greenman to let you advance.

If I wish to, I won't have to sign up until a month before, so there's plenty of time to decide. Plenty of time is what I will need. Today I ran for 45 minutes, three loops around another hilly park and was tired at the end of it. I might have done 5 miles at 5:30 for every km, and certainly wasn't a speedy rabbit.

Weights this evening. Happy weekend everyone!
