Unofficially a blog that's been shut down, you might still find the occasional post here where I mention something about exercise, rant/comment on life, or post my amateur third-person poetry.

It's been a cold day today. I hadn't really realised how cold it was because I was in the kitchen toasting crumpets and cooking curry at the same time, but after I stepped back in to the lounge I found out. By the looks of it, it's quite cold outside. Too cold for running (but not that I contemplated).

I dislike it when the weather's cold - I never run when it's 50 deg Farenheit or less, because it's too cold for me, and I got pneumonia once, which left me in hospital for two weeks and another two at home. Sometime back I read about Brett Favre and the Packers never losing in cold weather (or something like that) and the Buccaneers losing matches below 40 Farenheit. My reaction was "Huh?" Playing in this kind of weather? Ugh. I prefer running when it's warm; hot even.

Anyway I did about 100+ (120?) pressups yesterday evening. Today I'll work out using weights and by doing crunches, and then help Kate do the ironing and tidying up (cooking - check!) because she has a whole day of singing tomorrow to do. It's a shame to have such a short weekend together.
