Nine years on

Today is our "courtship anniversary" - nine years since our first date! Ah... it all seems a long time ago. It wasn't all plain sailing - we had a long-distance relationship for much of the first six years. Until I moved over three years ago, we initially saw each other for only a fortnight every nine months, and things later "improved" to a week every three or six months. That pretty much remained the pattern until - among other things - I got sick of thirteen-hour flights and I could afford the buy-out clause in my contract. Long story, and not one I particularly feel the need to re-tell.

She is the sweetest thing in the world to me.

Hey try great photo, my wedding day photo is one of my favorite. Except for the fact that with every passing day I look less and less like the young guy in the photo.....sigh.....oh well, happy anniversary, your a fine looking couple.

What a beautiful couple you two make. I'm jealous of the limo/car picture. Ours never showed up. We drove around in a buick sedan. But like you we are still married, in love and that's all that matters.

Thanks for sharing!

lol. Awesome. My wife and I did the long distance thing for a few years. Its tough. On the day we got married we had not seen each other for almost 10 months before that. Well it all comes together in the end.

Cheers.

Rice.

Awwww!

After overcoming all that separation time, and still being very in love after all these years, you will undoubtedly be happy together for a long, long time. Cheers!
